As of April 28, 2020 you can use your EBT card to make purchases online.
Individuals and families can purchase groceries online using their EBT card at Amazon and Walmart. If you receive CalWORKs, you may also be able to use your cash benefits to make purchases online at Wal-Mart.
California expedited implementation of EBT online purchasing in response to COVID-19. Allowing for EBT online purchases will support vulnerable populations in meeting their nutrition needs, especially while a statewide stay at home order remains in place. California is actively working to expand the number of stores that accept EBT online in the future.
CalFresh provides monthly food benefits that help individuals and families buy healthy, nutritious food! Even if temporary, individuals and families who have experienced a change in their circumstances and need additional help may apply for CalFresh. Californian’s can visit GetCalFresh.org to apply or call 1-877-847-3663 (FOOD) to be connected to their local county social service office.

Thank you all for your wonderful suggestions! We, MAB and staff, have tried our best to comment on each suggestion/comment to meet your needs. Please let staff or a MAB member know if your question/comment has not been answered and/or addressed. Thank you!
Suggestions
Thank you for the suggestion! We will look into the possibly of having a morning tea time once we return to the center.
Thank you for your suggestion, we will work on having Eric on the volleyball schedule occasionally as his time allows, once we return to the center.
We will talk to our facilitator to see if he is able to accommodate once we return to the center.
Unfortunately, we cannot purchase this. With groups in session all day this, instrument would be too loud and due to its nature, would not be sanitary to use among multiple people.
Please call 714-361-4860 to talk with Sohail or email him at Sohail.Eftekharzadeh@pathways.com if you have any questions or any other concerns.

Coronavirus Safety & Resources
There is currently no vaccine available for the Coronavirus. Because of this, the best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to the virus in the first place. Here are some general recommendations for how to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and how to avoid getting it yourself.
How to Help Stop the Spread:
Wear A Cloth Face Mask
The CDC now advises everyone to wear a cloth mask when we go out in public. This is enforced in order to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. Please continue to keep 6 feet away from others, as the cloth mask does not replace social distancing guidelines. If you do not have a cloth mask at home, please refer to the linked video below on how to make your own no-sew face mask!

Wash Your Hands Thoroughly
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, with unwashed hands. Be sure to use both soap and water to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds, especially after being out in public, or if you have experienced any illness symptoms. If you do not have soap or water readily available, vouch for hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol in the ingredients and cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry. However, this is not a permanent substitute. Please find a comprehensive video on how to properly wash your hands below.

Clean and Disinfect Surfaces:
It is highly important to clean and disinfect all of your frequently touched surfaces every day. This may include doorknobs, counters, light switches, phones, computers, etc. If the surfaces are dirty, use detergent or soap to clean them prior to your disinfection. Below, please find a detailed list of disinfectants that is recommended for us to use on any surfaces against the virus.

Stay Home:
Please avoid leaving your home, except if necessary for essential travel. Try not to meet up with people that you are not already at home in isolation with, and if you absolutely must, avoid all social gatherings of more than 10 people. Practice social distancing by keeping 6 feet away from others. If possible, keep in contact with friends and family over video chat, phone calls, or mail. Remember, it is possible for people without any symptoms at all to spread COVID-19 to others.
*Please call your healthcare provider immediately if you have concerns about developing COVID-19 symptoms. According to the CDC, symptoms include fever, shortness of breath, and a cough.*
